I first designed this ornament for a customer
who was getting married in Maui.
The vivid colors are achieved, essentially,
by doing a watercolor painting
over the baked surface.
In 2004 I remade the ornament for my daughter
and son-in-law who honeymooned in St. Johns.
In 2007 I decided to add it to my regular line
for anyone else who wants to remember
a special time on a tropical beach.
